From the moment you walk in, Bizou has that perfect mix of intimate atmosphere and modern charm. It’s the kind of place that works for a date night, a celebration, or even just a “treat yourself” dinner after a long week. We chose to sit outside, where they had heaters. Here we were able to have a nice dinner outside while staying warm in late fall.
The Star of the Night: Steak + Garlic Butter + Fries
The highlight of my meal was easily the steak with garlic butter, served with crispy fries. The steak was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, but that garlic butter took it to another level. Rich, savory, and the kind of sauce you want on everything. The fries also had a truffle seasoning on them that took this dinner to the next level.
And the fries? Exactly what you want alongside a steak: crisp, golden, and impossible not to finish.
Appetizers Worth Ordering Again
We started with two appetizers, and both were a hit:
-
Tuna Tartare — fresh, light, and beautifully balanced. It’s one of those starters that instantly sets the tone for the meal.
-
Calamari — crispy, flavorful, and not overly heavy. The perfect shareable bite. The calamari came with a delicious savory sweet almost spicy mayo sauce.
Why Bizou is Worth a Visit
